Projects already at risk
We establish where the project actually stands, name the risks plainly, and stay alongside your leadership team while the corrections land. Not a report that sits on a shelf — adjustments you can implement and measure.
An innovation company
We spent years being called into projects that were already failing — which is an unusually good education in what never to build. RightScope now applies it twice over: recovering the projects you already have, and developing new ones, in-house and for clients, at a pace that tends to surprise people.
How we engage
Understanding why a project is dying and knowing how to build one that won’t are the same discipline pointed in opposite directions. We do both, and the first is why we are any good at the second.
We establish where the project actually stands, name the risks plainly, and stay alongside your leadership team while the corrections land. Not a report that sits on a shelf — adjustments you can implement and measure.
Products built for clients, and ventures we develop and hold ourselves. A small senior team with no layers between the decision and the work, which is the entire reason we move as quickly as we do.
A review starts with the current state — accomplishments included, not just problems. These are the areas that most often turn out to be carrying the risk, and the ones we design around when we build.
Whether the people, skills and capacity match what has been committed — and what has quietly been assumed.
Gaps in ownership and decision-making, and what happens to delivery when a key person leaves or is moved.
What the project is really being asked to deliver, where that has drifted, and which parts are load-bearing.
Whether the signals reaching leadership reflect reality — and whether anyone would know early if they stopped doing so.
The bench
Most reviews can tell you a process is broken. Ours can also tell you whether the thing is buildable, defensible and fundable — because the people running the review have owned each of those problems themselves.
Founded SecureTrust, an SSL certificate authority merged into Trustwave. Seat on the U.S. Federal PKI Policy Authority.* We read systems for how they fail, not how they are documented.
Shipped and operated interactive products at consumer scale, with responsibility for live service serving tens of millions of customers.
Deal structuring, capital raising and the modelling behind a plan — so the numbers in a recovery survive contact with a board.
Multiple companies founded, scaled and exited. We have sat in the chair being advised, which shapes the advice we give.
A single specialist sees the risk in their own discipline. A project in trouble is usually failing across several at once.
Representing NexOasis on the U.S. Federal Public Key Infrastructure Policy Authority is a personal and NexOasis role. It is not a RightScope LLC engagement or membership.
Experience
Our principals bring more than half a century of combined executive leadership between them — across computer electronics, entertainment, security and federal trusted identity, including responsibility for live service operations serving tens of millions of customers.

Companies engaged by RightScope LLC. Work has included mobile application strategy, Agile planning at scale, and the creative design and evaluation of projects. Current engagements include a power grid simulation project helping consumers and utilities understand their very different needs.
Enterprise clients of SecureTrust — the SSL certificate authority our principal founded and merged with Trustwave in 2007, in a cash-and-stock transaction. Trustwave was subsequently acquired by Singapore Telecommunications. The SecureTrust roots remain in service under their own name today, two owners on. Listed as individual experience, not as engagements of RightScope LLC — included because handling security work at that scale leaves habits that don’t expire.
Portfolio & affiliations
Direct and angel positions across AI infrastructure, healthcare technology, media and identity. This is the half of the business that keeps the other half honest: we are building and funding inside the same conditions our clients are working in, not advising from outside them.
Personal investments and affiliations held by our principals. These are not holdings of, or engagements by, RightScope LLC, and nothing here implies endorsement by the companies or organisations named.
